Curatorial Assistant and Exhibitions Administrator
The Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre is a cultural facility of Liverpool City Council. The Centre boasts six galleries and two performance spaces including a 322-seat theatre and a flexible performance space which can seat up to 100 people, a ceramics studio, artist studio and residency, kid’s studio and kid’s gallery as well as a fully licensed restaurant and Bar.
The Curatorial Assistant and Exhibitions Administrator provides assistance with the planning and delivery of Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre’s exciting exhibition programs. The position is responsible for administrative duties associated with the planning and successful realisation of exhibitions hosted at the Centre including the administration of and monitoring of the contractual obligations for exhibitions. Working with the Curatorial Team the position also assists with documenting projects, collection of information to draft loan agreements, liaising with artists and galleries, assisting with the grant applications and acquittals, curatorial research and the coordination of the installation of exhibitions as required. Salary will be dependent upon the relevant skills, experience and competencies of the successful applicant.
