Corporate Strategy Coordinator

The Corporate Strategy Coordinator is a newly created leadership role reporting to our Director Corporate Support.
You will be responsible for the coordination and continued development of Council’s strategic management cycle, including ongoing education and promotion across the organisation.
You will have outstanding research capabilities and an ability to interpret and analyse a wide breadth of information and issues to inform strategy development.
You will partner with leaders across our diverse business units to create a cross-organisational Resourcing Strategy team.
You will promote collaboration and build greater organisational cohesion – supporting Council to achieve our one vision, live our values, increase performance and create a strong and sustainable future for our community.
You will coordinate the development of Council’s suite of planning documents which will guide us in achieving our vision.
You will be accountable for the development of the Community Strategic Plan, Delivery Program, Resourcing Strategy, and informing strategies and implementation plans.
You will manage progress and performance reporting against key plans.

You will bring to life our strategic plans, empower others, increase capability and foster engagement through delivery of workshops and learning initiatives.
You will coordinate strategic discussions, planning, decision-making and performance reporting against agreed key plans.
You have high levels of emotional intelligence and a proven ability to work collaboratively and foster effective strategic relationships with people at all levels both internally and externally.
You will lead, mentor and support the professional development of the Corporate Strategy Officer.
You will navigate through changing environments and develop strategies to position Council to make constructive decisions.
You will identify, assess and manage business risks to ensure the successful delivery of objectives and mitigate overall organisational risk.
