Town Planner



Primary Location: Gosford Administration Building (some work is required in Wyong Administration Building)

  • Be a key part of operations for one of the largest Council's in NSW
  • Work/Life balance
  • Temporary Term Contract up to July 2021 - Part Time 14 hours per week (Monday and Tuesday)
  • Salary range between $40.15 to $48.19 per hour  + superannuation.

Using your experience and skills in legislation interpretation and research and analysis, you will be required to provide solutions and planning advice for the management of Council’s planning applications. This role also involves the delivery of projects related to Environment and Planning systems, functions and system requirements.


Key activities of this role include: 

  • Providing operational training and systems support, on property and rating system and assessment tools, to the environment and planning directorate;
  • Leading and participating in the delivery of projects related to Environment and Planning systems and functions;
  • Analysing, researching and assessing issues and preparing recommendation reports to solve problems including customer issues.
