Shire of Mukinbudin

The Shire of Mukinbudin is situated in the North Eastern Wheatbelt, 296 kilometres north east of Perth and 85 kilometres north of Merredin. 3,414 square kilometres in area, the Shire’s economy is based around wheat growing and with advances in farming practice and technology, the district is prospering. There is also an increase in tourist activity with many fascinating rock formations and spectacular wildflowers

Mukinbudin is an enthusiastic, progressive and proud community with an abundance of community spirit. The town is growing, with a subdivision located south of town which is undergoing a large number of building projects, from both Local Government and private owners and businesses, and new businesses are investing in the district.
