Senior Project Officer - Facilities (Regional)



About the Opportunity

Based in at any of our regional centres (Dalby/Chinchilla/Miles/Wandoan and Tara), you will be responsible for implementing, coordinating and supporting various projects.

Reporting to the Coordinator Facilities Project Delivery, you will:

  • manage multiple projects involving various internal and external stakeholders;
  • contribute to issue resolution and escalation, research and analysis activities;
  • develop and implement project plans, policies and solutions;
  • contribute to the development of best practice in business systems by monitoring and reviewing work practices and making recommendations which will lead to continuous improvement; and
  • provide excellent customer service by effectively communicating, negotiating, advising and working collaboratively with others to reach decisions.

About yourself

The successful applicant will have:

  • relevant qualification in a related field (Diploma in Project Management desirable) or be able to demonstrate equivalent related experience;
  • Work Health and Safety Induction White Card;
  • Open C drivers licence;
  • high level interpersonal skills;
  • previous experience managing multiple demands whilst still delivering to strict deadlines;
  • experience in the use of project management systems; and
  • proven ability in producing solutions to problems and resolving issues using analytical reasoning and experience.
