• 2 x Permanent, Full-Time - with work/life balance with a fortnightly RDO
• Salary range from $55,673 up to $66,690 p.a. + super (dependent on qualifications)

The Role

The role covers all aspects of tree work including:

• Assisting in the care and maintenance of the City of Ballarat’s unique urban forest
• Working as part of a highly skilled and supportive team
• Assisting in the delivery of best industry practice on behalf of the Ballarat community
• Assisting in extreme weather and emergency situations
• Maintaining a safe workplace at all times
• Deliver good customer service to the Ballarat community

Licences and Qualifications required

• Completion of Certificate III in Horticulture or equivalent, or substantial industry experience.
• Current Victorian Drivers Licence with MR truck endorsement
• Formal qualifications in arboriculture/horticulture or equivalent experience
• Chainsaw Level 2 Certificate
• Elevating Work Platform High Risk Licence
• Cert II ESI Powerline Vegetation Control (UET20312)
• Traffic management & traffic controller certificate
• First Aid Level 2 Certificate
• Demonstrated ability in tree assessment and the use of a range of arboriculture machinery and vehicular plant
