About the role

This position is a full time role in the People and Safety team, based at the Moruya Administration Office.

Your main duties will include:

  • Providing expert interpretation of the Award and associated Industrial Relations, taxation and superannuation related legislation.
  • Assisting in the management of staff grievances and disciplinary matters.
  • Providing guidance and assistance with legislative and Award interpretation to the Payroll Team.
  • Providing system focused technical expertise and recommendations to aid in the delivery of high level Human Resource services and continuous business improvement.
  • Work with the People and Safety team to review and refine work processes and determine and provide system efficiencies and benefits.

Salary Information

Total remuneration for the role is in the range $97,756.13 to $108,010.05 gross per annum consisting of:

  • $88,068.59 to $97,306.35 base salary
  • $9,687.54 to $10,703.70 superannuation (at 11%)

A satisfactory outcome as a result of a National Criminal History Record Check is required for appointment to this position.

About you

You will hold relevant qualifications with 3 or more years practical experience in Industrial Relations and grievance management. You will be a high achiever with a can-do attitude and demonstrate the following:

  • Relevant experience in provision of high level payroll services and application of contemporary Award and industrial related conditions of employment.
  • Experience and familiarity with utilising and reporting from a Human Resource Management Information System and analysing data.
  • High level negotiating skills and strong stakeholder management with an ability to build and maintain functional working relationships.
