About the team: Located in the Planning and Regulation Department, the City Development Branch is responsible for the management and assessment of customer development applications, including the provision of planning and building advice, development assessment and improvement, infrastructure change review, developer contributions, infrastructure compliance and planning appeals and research. The Planning Assessment business unit, is responsible for the assessment of development applications (except those for major development), change applications, superseded planning requests, access easements, and volumetric subdivisions. Assessment of compliance of survey plans as part of the plan sealing process. You will be working within a supportive and driven team whilst having the support of great line leaders. About the role: We are seeking a Development Compliance Officer to join a team passionate about ensuring the City of Gold Coast remains a safe and liveable City. You will provide high level technical and administrative support by assisting in monitoring Development Compliance Section workflows, and investigation of allegations, disputes and customer requests in relation to compliance with the legislative requirements and regulations.
