Balranald Shire Council is seeking an innovative and committed professional to lead the organisation into an exciting new phase.  Council is currently seeking the services of a highly motivated, energetic and competent professional to be our General Manager, to lead our organisation and to support our community. Reporting to the Administrator, your strong and strategic leadership will be pivotal in furthering organisational capacity to foster economic development, deliver Council’s services and ensure a sustainable long-term future. 

The successful applicant must have a proven track record of leadership in a diverse, multi-disciplined organisation and commitment to providing quality services to the community.  

This position will suit a person with a strong local government financial management background, ideally CPA qualified and/or significant financial experience.

An attractive remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
