Expressions of Interest - Labourers, Plant Operators and Truck Drivers, Isaac region

The Engineering and Infrastructure directorate have multiple opportunities available for Labourers (Parks, Recreation and Infrastructure), Plant Operators and/ or Truck Drivers across the Isaac Region including locations such as: Moranbah, Dysart, Clermont, Nebo, Glenden, St Lawrence & Middlemount.

Right now, we are seeking expressions of interest for suitably qualified and experienced Labourers, Plant Operators and/or Truck Drivers to join both our Parks & Recreation and Infrastructure teams.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• C Class Licence or greater (mandatory)
• Construction White Card (mandatory)
• Experience in similar role i.e. Parks and Recreation & Civil Construction (Infrastructure)
• Knowledge and experience in basic mechanics and general maintenance
• Plant Operators: Relevant certification for the operation of vehicle, plant and equipment specific to the role e.g. Loader, Roller, Skid Steer, Backhoe, Excavator, Tractor/Slasher, Grader (any other plant/machinery/equipment certification highly regarded)
• Truck Drivers: Relevant licence for the operation of equipment specific to the role e.g. LR, HR, HC, MR or MC licence may be required
• Ability and willingness to undertake labouring duties when required

WHAT ISAAC REGIONAL COUNCIL OFFERS:

• 76-hour fortnight – Please note: Roster will differ depending on position (will be either an 8- or 9-day fortnight - RDO’s in accordance with Council policy)
• Allowances including construction workers allowance, locality allowance, camp allowance and others, depending on the nature of the position

• A generous superannuation scheme (12% in accordance with Council policy)
• 5 weeks annual leave with 17.5% annual leave loading
