ABOUT THE POSITION

The Shire has an exciting opportunity available to join our Airport team. We are currently recruiting for an Groundsperson/Airport Reporting Officer in Onslow. This role is responsible for assisting in ensuring effective operation and maintenance of the Shire’s airport facility in accordance with relevant legislation.  This role will ensure at all times the safety of the community via safe and compliant airport operations, and the safety of all staff and contractors engaged in work related to airport operations.

To be successful in this role you must be a highly motivated individual who enjoys working outdoors, has the ability to relate well to the general public and a strong commitment to customer service. You must able to work autonomously and as part of a team, as required.  There will be a requirement to undertake ‘after hours’ duties in this role, which may include evenings and weekends. 

This position offers a competitive remuneration package and six (6) weeks’ annual leave. Accommodation and relocation assistance are available if needed. All terms and conditions are as per the Shire of Ashburton Enterprise Agreement 2017.
