About the Role

Based at Miles Home and Community Care, you will be responsible for the provision of quality care to the elderly and disabled.

The successful applicant will:

  • Perform duties according to individual care plans and work lists, such as domestic assistance, home maintenance, personal care, social support and transporting of clients depending on the needs of the client;
  • Help clients to be comfortable, independent, happy and secure in their home and the community; and
  • Ensure clients have a positive experience when using the service.

About you

To be a successful applicant, you will have:

  • a Certificate III in Community Services (Aged Care) or similar;
  • a Disability Worker Screening Clearance (Yellow Card);
  • a current Driver's Licence;
  • a dedication towards delivering high quality service in residential care, meal handling, cleanliness and cleaning;
  • compassion, empathy, patience and respect for residents, colleagues and visitors;
  • an acceptable standard of verbal and written communication skills, and basic computer skills; and
  • be willing to have a flu and COVID-19 vaccination.
