  • Salary from $110,099.21 - $127,566.55 per annum plus 10% superannuation

Georges River Council is currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated leader to manage our diverse and fast paced corporate governance function. The successful candidate will provide motivational leadership while managing Council’s governance, risk and procurement functions ensuring superior customer service, organisational transparency, accountability and compliance with statutory obligations.

Key Skills

  • Demonstrated experience in interpreting and applying the Local Government Act 1993, Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009, Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act 1998, Public Interest Disclosures Act and ICAC Act other relevant legislation.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills, including the ability to deal with a wide variety of employees, influence and secure approvals with a range of stakeholders at senior levels, including customers and oversight bodies.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and transforming governance operations resulting in positive change in the workplace and service delivery.
  • Demonstrated commitment to a high standard of ethics and integrity.
