• Salary $79.9K Pro-rata (Band 6) + 10% Super

This role is responsible for:

• Undertaking end of month and end of year processes in an efficient and timely manner with a focus on Assets
• Assist in preparation of annual financial statements.
• Maintenance of non-infrastructure fixed assets registers
• Understanding of Australian Accounting Standards and implementing any changes in the accounting standards within the Financial Accounting context.   
• Supporting the Financial Accounting Coordinator in the daily activities of the finance function

The ideal candidate will have the following experience/attributes:

• Business degree or similar tertiary qualification combined with relevant experience.
• Excellent communication and well-developed report writing skills.
• Experience with TechnologyOne or other large ERP software.
• Working knowledge and interpretation of Australian Accounting Standards.
• Knowledge of current financial accounting and reporting practices with a focus on Fixed Assets.

You will have high attention to detail and be capable of undertaking reconciliations, ensuring processes are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
