Coordinator Public Space Design



An exciting opportunity exists within the Parks and Open Space unit for a Coordinator Public Space Design to manage the planning, design and delivery of projects and concepts and provide leadership for the Citys Parks and Open Spaces. This role will drive the City towards a future open space network that sustains community health, happiness and environment giving way to a more equitable, liveable and sustainable city.

As the successful candidate you will have substantial experience in public space urban design and landscape planning with the ability to be innovative with design and methods of construction. Well developed communication skills and interpersonal management skills with the ability to provide leadership to project team staff and are vital for this role.

If you hold formal qualifications in Environmental Science, Landscape Architecture, and/or Management or lesser formal qualifications together with extensive and diverse experience, or intensive specialist experience, we welcome your application.
