ABOUT THE POSITION

We have an exciting opportunity to join a team of dedicated professionals at the Shire of Ashburton. This position reports directly to the CEO and provides support to senior staff and managers. This varied role will allow you to showcase your expertise in the areas of land and asset management while building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

This position offers you’re the opportunity to have a direct, positive impact on our community and is responsible for the management of the Shire’s commercial lease portfolio, stakeholder negotiations and lease agreements, social impact assessment of mining tenement referrals, provision of staff accommodation, strategic planning and staff management.

Our ideal candidate will be a values-driven professional and highly effective in the delivery of services. You will have demonstrated experience in a similar role and tertiary qualifications in land development or contract management will be highly regarded. You will have energy and tenacity to tackle challenges and have exceptional consultation and negotiation skills. Travel between Shire towns is an essential requirement of this role and a Shire pool vehicle will be available.
