The Opportunity: Moonee Valley City Council is seeking a Strategic Research Officer to be part of the Research and Facilities Planning team. We welcome applications from motivated individuals to be a part of this dynamic team. The Strategic Research Officer supports the organisation to provide, promote and maintain a strong evidence base for planning and informed decision making through the analysis, interpretation and presentation of socio-economic, service and community data. In this role you will work with stakeholders across the organisation to drive best practice approaches and build capacity in the use and development of research and data analytics methods and products. You will also help to design the research tools used to monitor and evaluate the implementation of MV2040, Council’s long-term strategic plan.
