The Opportunity

Positioned within Council’s Corporate Transformation department, you will work with a team of experienced professionals in successfully driving and delivering the requirements for the Information Technology application modernisation project. You will be responsible for delivering business benefits by maximising the utilisation of corporate application investment through implementing, supporting, configuring and enhancing application functionalities.

 

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the delivery of software strategies to maintain and enhance Council’s ICT environment;
  • Run structured workshops with business areas to capture the requirements necessary to successfully replace and surpass the capabilities of existing systems;
  • Partner with business units to provide technical advice and coordinate the analysis and scoping of development projects;
  • Engage with vendors to ensure smooth implementation of systems; and,
  • Support procurement activities of applications being replaced.

 

Skills & Experience

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in information systems, or similar, with demonstrated commercial experience;
  • Extensive and proven experience in using Agile Methodology;
  • Strong and proven experience in end to end implementation of CRM;
  • Demonstrated experience in the successful delivery of multi-year software implementation projects; and,
  • Project management skills supported by a broad understanding of project management methodologies and certifications.
