Administration Officer Safety and Wellbeing

Reporting directly to the Executive Manager Governance and Risk, the successful applicant will be primarily responsible for providing quality customer service. This skill is applied to supporting implementation of safety management system, accurate workers compensation insurance claims processing and achievement of wellbeing activities.  

 
This position would suit an organised and flexible individual who has a positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills. Naturally you will possess well developed communication skills with proven experience in providing outstanding customer service.  Working with limited supervision, you will have an eye for detail whilst being able to meet strict deadlines. Previous experience in providing support in a administration management systems role would be preferred, although other relevant administrative experience would be suitable. 

 

Qualifications and experience 

  • Experience in being part of a broader team delivering quality services within strict timelines and to a high standard. 

  • A relevant Administration qualification; or relevant experience in business management or other relevant fields.

  • Qualifications and experience as listed above. 

  • Demonstrated ability to champion, model and promote the corporate values. 

  • Demonstrated time management skills of a high order with the ability to meet deadlines without supervision and successfully coordinate and organise special projects within a structured timeframe.  

  • Ability to work as part of a collaborative team and contribute to the team environment. 

  • Knowledge of occupational health and safety; and injury management principles. 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills that deliver high levels of customer service. 

  • Demonstrated experience in the operation of a variety of Windows based applications and databases.  

  • Knowledge and understanding of health and safety issues relevant to work activities and work area.
