Then the Engaged Communities Department have the perfect position for you! We’re seeking an enthusiastic people-person to join in the role of Community Relations Officer, based in Moranbah. Reporting to the Manager Community Engagement, Programs and Event, this position is responsible for the development of resilient communities by identifying the needs of residents and developing and implementing relevant programs and strategies to meet these needs. This position also provides advice and support to build capacity of community-based organisation and is responsible for building and maintaining beneficial relationships with key community and government stakeholders. Along with building strong relationships with the Community, this position will be required to engage in community programs and events, be informed about and participate in a range of community building and development activities and celebrate essential communities-of-interest.
