Canterbury Bankstown Council has undertaken to bring some of our domestic waste and recycling services back in house commencing March 2021. As such, this has created opportunities for experienced drivers from within the waste industry to join our team on a permanent basis.

You will be required to work as part of a team with a strong emphasis on safety and customer service to collect domestic waste and recycling bins from over 120,000 households across our city.

The salary range for this opportunity commences at $61,966 (Grade D, Step1) + 9.5% super

Essential Qualifications;

•Class HR Licence.

Essential Experience;

•Demonstrated safety performance and compliance
•Experience using rear loaders
•Ability to work in a team environment
•Commitment to excellent customer service

Desirable Experience;

•Demonstrated ability to operate side loaders
•Local area experience and knowledge while not essential, will be well regarded
