About you:

  • Keen to be part of the major transformation of one of Australia’s iconic resources hubs.
  • Experienced in, or solid understanding of, Client side project management, ideally within government, utilities, defence force or similar environments
  • Good knowledge of relevant state and federal regulations, Australian standards and governance principles
  • An excellent communicator with the ability to foster strong internal and external relationships and lead by example
  • Solid experience in procuring, managing and administering projects >$10M
  • Degree qualified in a Civil Engineering or Project Management with demonstrated experience in project delivery

About the role:

Reporting to the Principal Project Manager, the Senior Project Manager will be responsible for the delivery of the Town’s capital works program through a combination of wet hire and contract services. This position will ensure that all projects are delivered according to design, within the agreed scope, quality and budget constraints while adhering to the highest safety standards at all times. A competitive package will be offered to the successful candidate for a fixed term contract of three years including, Town provided housing, a vehicle (or vehicle allowance), utility allowance and six weeks of annual leave. Relocation assistance will also be provided.
