Work Health and Safety Officer The WH&S Officer is responsible for the continuous review and improvement of the WHS management system through appropriate review and audit frameworks to ensure safe methods of work are employed by all staff and risk of incident and injury is reduced, particularly as it relates to the high risk areas. The successful applicant will coach, facilitate and support supervisors, managers, HSR’s and workers to meet their safety responsibilities and to ensure understanding of, and compliance with Council’s WHS Management system and relevant safety legislation.
