Manager, Provider Contracts Management
The purpose of this role is to manage registered training providers contracted to deliver government subsidised training to eligible individuals. The manager will be responsible for up to 10 staff and oversee a number of key functions including: -
day to day contact about contractual issues including amendments to funded scope, subcontracting, change of ownership and commencements. These tasks require good and prompt processes and coordination with other teams. - management and reporting of payments to training providers (i.e. supporting payment process, analysing payments and anomalies, reporting with internally within the HESG Group and more broadly in the Department. - consideration of payment, activity and enquiries data to assess areas of risk and the themes emerging in the government funded training market - stakeholder management - first point of contact for training providers (using SVTS, letters and website to send and receive information) but also responding to complaints and getting a "feel" for concerns of RTOs - Assisting and/or coordinating the selection of providers to be contracted Individuals that can manipulate data will be valued, but where this skill is lacking, the willingness to learn this skill and interpret data is essential. This role would suit a highly motivated individual seeking to further their career.
This role will require strong coordination skills, ability to think independently and contribute to policy discussions. The role can be challenging and at times demanding and therefore requires someone that can cope under pressure and manage a heavy workload.
