School Crossing Supervisor

• Band 1 ($31.21 per hour)
• Permanent Part-time
• Usual hours between 8-9am and 3-4pm on school days

About the Role

This role provides adult and child pedestrian traffic assistance in crossing roads safely. This role is to ensure that Section 702 of the Road Safety (Traffic) Regulations 1988 is enforces in order.

About You

You will need:

• Good written skills for reports to Coordinator Community Safety
• Excellent eyesight
• The ability to discuss and resolve problems
• Ability to relate to school children and to gain their respect and co-operation
• The ability to perform duties in all weather conditions.

The successful completion of a Police Check and current Working with Children Check and a current driver's licence will also be a requirement.
