About the Opportunity

The Finance Officer works with all areas of the organisation to provide a customer-focused finance service.

You would be responsible for:

  • Management of the payment process including processing, system management and improvements, payments, remitting and reconciling
  • Initiating payment runs to generate electronic funds transfer payments and BPAY Payments for regular suppliers and generate associated reports
  • Routine investigation of enquiries as directed
  • Provide internal and external customer service including training and managing enquiries
  • Maintain petty cash and process reimbursements

This role is a permanent, full time opportunity with a monthly ADO. Remuneration begins at $67K to $70K (Band 4) plus superannuation.

About You

Our ideal candidate will have the following experience/attributes:

  • Excellent verbal, written and numerical abilities.
  • Be capable of working independently and with high attention to detail
  • Ensure processes are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Extensive use of computers and database maintenance.
  • People focused and outcomes driven and be able to work with enthusiasm and in a positive manner.
