About the role

We have not one, but four full-time labouring roles in the Council concrete crews at Moruya and Batemans Bay! Your main duties will include:

  • Doing your part in completing construction/maintenance works projects.
  • Supporting other staff, contractors and sub-contractors and providing customer service to the public.
  • Doing physical labour and other construction/maintenance manual tasks.

Salary Information

Total remuneration for the role is in the range $2,494.11 to $2,688.34 gross per fortnight comprising:

  • $2,210.39 to $2,385.37 base salary per fortnight
  • $36.56 Adverse Working Conditions allowance per fortnight
  • $247.16 to $266.41 superannuation per fortnight (calculated at 11%)

About you

We want someone who enjoys working outdoors, has experience in construction and maintenance environments and knowledge of using plant machinery for concrete works. Your can-do attitude, common sense and ability to work in a team will be a standout! To be the choice candidate, your application should contain examples of the following:

  • Relevant Certificate III (or willingness to work towards) and relevant experience in construction and maintenance environments.
  • Understanding and experience in plant capabilities and outputs.
  • Willingness to do physical labouring tasks.
  • Good oral, written, literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Open to completing recognised training opportunities with Council assistance!
