Coordinator Project Delivery

About the Role
The role of the Coordinator Project Delivery is to develop, assist and manage a project delivery program that ensures council projects are delivered in an efficient and timely manner.
Responsibilities of the Role
- Develop Delivery Program. Develop capital project delivery program in conjunction with project owners and managers.
- Contracts. Coordinate and assist in the preparation and administration of tenders and contracts for works under the capital works program.
- Supervise Construction Works delivered by contract. Act as client and/or superintendent for contractor delivered works.
- Monitor and Report. Monitor and report on program, identifying variations, impacts and mitigations.
- Standards and Templates. Establish a suite of standard documents and templates for use in delivery of projects from initial scope to final close out.
- Strategic Procurement. Develop strategies for bundling of capital works projects with a view to reduce the overall delivery cost.
- People Management. Lead, motivate, develop and support the team to deliver service excellence.

- Demonstrated strong attention to detail, analytical skills and ability to methodically problem solve.
- Demonstrated experience with civil design, construction techniques and standards as applied to fit for purpose infrastructure assets.
- Extensive knowledge of road, stormwater, water, sewerage design and construction specifications.
- Demonstrated experience in procurement requirements and practices and the application and management of contracts for civil works.
- Demonstrated ability to deal with customers at all levels in a professional and courteous manner to achieve successful outcomes.
- Proficient use of the full suite of Microsoft programs; particularly Project and Excel.
- Tertiary Qualification (Bachelor Engineering – Civil).
- Minimum of Queensland C class provisional driver’s licence.
