Community and Social Planning Research OfficerPermanent Full Time About Us Maribyrnong City Council is undergoing significant change in population growth, redevelopment, and a transitioning economy is leading to an influx of new residents, businesses and opportunities. The Opportunity The Community Services and Social Infrastructure Planning Department is looking for an experienced Community and Social Planning Research Officer to contribute to social and community infrastructure policy and planning at Maribyrnong City Council. Reporting to the Senior Social Policy and Research Officer, this position will be responsible for developing community profiles and providing data analysis and mapping expertise to Council in the areas of community infrastructure planning, demographic research and population forecasting. This role will also support community infrastructure planning and projects and the assessment of the social impacts of significant residential development within the municipality.
