As a member of the Transport and Facilities team, your role in the SEWOL team is to assist and support members within Council to maintain their road assets through the detection of overloaded vehicles using public roads in the Group's area.
Key Responsibilities
The position is responsible for delivery of the following activities:
Detect, weigh and record breaches of overloaded vehicles using public roads in the Group's area
Supervise day to day operations of the inspection team
Provide guidance and training co-ordination to the Weight of Load inspectors
Undertake thorough and accurate record keeping/evidence collection of mass breaches and patrolling activities
Process breaches in accordance with SEWOL policy and processes
