About the Role

This role is full time, fixed term for 2 years.

Based at the Jandowae Domiciliary, you will be responsible and accountable for clinical leadership; the delivery of quality and safe care and services in line with the Aged Care Quality Standards to consumers within the community.

Reporting to the Health Services Coordinator, you will:

  • Deliver and actively promote a holistic approach to care which focuses on the needs and rights of the care recipient and carers.
  • Provide comprehensive care involving assessment, prevention, early detection and referral when necessary
  • Coordinate and regularly evaluate the effects of care provided through planned reviews and assessments
  • Lead and effectively manage community care service staff and human resource matters including recruitment, training and development, performance management and disciplinary matters

 

About you

The successful applicant will have:

  • A Current Registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Experience in nursing the fail and aged within the community
  • Highly developed computer skills including demonstrated experience with electronic record management systems
  • Ability to multi-task while maintaining a high attention to detail
  • Hold a relevant Certificate III in Business Administration, or be able to demonstrate equivalent related experience
