Maintenance Worker

- $55,432 pa + superannuation
We are looking for an experienced and motivated maintenance worker to join our Field Services Unit to provide quality maintenance of road related infrastructure, including sealed and gravel pavements, bridges, culverts, drainage systems, signs, roadside furniture, roadside vegetation and shared paths. This position is primarily a team support role and are required to operate a variety of plant and equipment and undertake labouring duties.
The successful applicant will hold a Certificate III in Civil Construction and/or will have experience in road maintenance and construction. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and to work cooperatively as part of a team is essential. A current driver licence (endorsed Medium Rigid), Front End Loader/Backhoe, Chainsaw Operation (trim & cross-cut), relevant traffic management/control, First Aid Level 2 certificates and OHS Construction Industry Induction card are preferred.
