Maribyrnong City Council is undergoing significant change in population growth, redevelopment, and a transitioning economy is leading to an influx of new residents, businesses and opportunities. Maribyrnong is becoming a sought after residential area and a destination for foodies.


An exciting opportunity exists for a collaborative and engaging leader for Council's Corporate Planning and Performance team. If you are an innovative leader who shares Council's commitment to continuous improvement and delivering effective, efficient and responsive services to our diverse communities, then this could be the role for you! You will have experience in corporate planning, performance reporting, service reviews and service planning, delivering continuous improvement initiatives, and have strong knowledge of established business planning processes.


Your ability to develop and manage partnerships with key internal stakeholders will ensure successful delivery of corporate performance reporting and planning across Council. Your proven experience in strategic thinking, research, analysis and business planning and service review principles are vital to the success of this position.


You will possess superior communication skills, together with tertiary qualifications in business management together with extensive experience in corporate planning and performance management frameworks.
