Labourer Urban Areas
We are currently seeking an experienced Labourer to join our Parks, Environment & Sustainability team, based at our Sarina Depot.
This position is responsible for gardening, grass maintenance and/or other general maintenance and labouring support to work teams under the general supervision of a Supervisor or Leading Hand.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Current General Construction Safety White card
- Current QLD Car ‘C’ class open drivers licence
- Current QLD Medium Rigid ‘MR’ class licence or willing to obtain
- Sound knowledge of horticultural principles and practices, including the installation, operation and maintenance of irrigation systems.
- Experience in working in public gardens/landscaping and use of herbicides and pesticides.
Salary & Benefits Package:
- From $50,425 - $51,446 base salary + allowances
- Up to 18% weekly superannuation contribution (conditions apply)
- Choice of 4 or 5 weeks annual leave with 17.5% leave loading
