Animal Attendant / Administration Assistant - Bendigo Animal Relief Centre (BARC)
An opportunity now exists within our Safe and Healthy Environments unit for suitably qualified Animal Attendant/ Administration Assistant to join our team of professionals to play a key role in ensuring the health and wellbeing of all animals in the establishment and in foster care and daily compliance with relevant Acts, Regulations, Codes and Policies as they relate to the BARC and animal welfare.
This is a newly created role whereby you will be able to assist the facility Veterinarian and Operations Manager with successful adoption program strategies in the day to day operations of the new BARC services.
The successful applicant will provide a quality first point of call, handle routine enquiries and correspondence and a provide administration support and attend to animal welfare for our 7 days a week service.
Demonstrated and relevant experience handling and caring for domestic animals, and the ability to be an effective team player with a strong commitment to working in a team environment will be highly regarded.
