Asset Data Officer
Council’s Asset Services Branch is seeking an enthusiastic person to fill the position of Asset Data Officer – R1779.
Position Objectives
The officer will be responsible for:
- Supporting various Strategic Asset Systems activities, including data capture, maintenance of the Asset Management System, information collation and presentation with a responsibility for data accuracy.
- Being multi-functional with a strong customer focus and team player expectation.
Qualifications and Experience
Ideally the successful applicant will have the following:
- Tertiary qualifications in Asset Management, Data Analysis, Engineering, Science or related fields; or a lesser qualification with relevant work experience.
- Skills in the use of Geographical Information Systems, Microsoft Office software packages, and an understanding of the fundamentals of database management.
- Demonstrated experience in data management and analysis.
- Demonstrated attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality.
- Experience in various forms of communication, influencing skills, and the ability to liaise effectively with a range of internal and external customers.
Salary and Conditions
The position is classified within Band 5 of Council’s Current Enterprise Agreement commencing at $66,989.52 per annum plus statutory superannuation.
