The Role

An exciting opportunity exists within our Development Services directorate for a Plumbing Inspector. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the Plumbing Code of Australia, whilst assisting to achieve the operational and corporate goals of Council.

Essential

1. C Class Drivers Licence.
2. QBCC Licenced Plumber and Drainer.
3. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite of Applications.

Desirable

1. Onsite Waste Water Systems designer accreditation.
2. QBCC Endorsements in backflow prevention and thermostatic mixing valves and solar heat pump installations.
3. QBCC Onsite Sewerage Treatment Plant maintenance endorsement.
4. Eligibility as a member of the Institute of Plumbing Inspectors Queensland
