ABOUT THE ROLE Reporting to the Head of Governance, the role sits within the Governance, Legal and Procurement Department of Liverpool City Council and is part of the Governance Team. The role will see you developing and maintaining Council’s Policy register and associated projects. Some of your duties will include assisting internal stakeholders with policy review and development, managing and updating Council’s policies, delivering proactive education on governance and policy matters as well as assisting the Access to Information Officer with applications for the release of documents under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009. ABOUT YOU Our desired candidate will be experienced in communicating, consulting and liaising effectively with a range of stakeholders and have demonstrated experience in policy development and review as well as analysing data, maintaining systems and records and preparing reports.
