Permanent Full Time Applications are sought for an experienced, qualified and highly skilled Principal Engineer to provide support to the Infrastructure Services Directorate through effective and efficient implementation of Council’s engineering infrastructure design services. Reporting to the Engineering and Strategic Projects Manager, the Principal Engineer is responsible for reviewing the engineering compliance requirements of planning and building permit applications, supervise the design of roads and stormwater systems, the provision of technical advice, and the investigation of customer requests. The role also includes supporting the creation of long-term works programs and strategies, and various ad-hoc tasks. Relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering and demonstrable experience in engineering surveying, designing civil infrastructures, and sub-divisional development is necessary, along with a current Police Check dated within the last six months. This permanent full time position attracts a salary of $105,591 per annum. In addition, superannuation is paid at 14% (3% above the Industry requirement).
