About your new role As the Manager Planning Scheme, you will be responsible for leading a team of specialists to prepare the new Planning scheme for the City of Gold Coast. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing its overall direction, governance and compliance with the legislative requirements of the Planning Act 2016 and Ministers Rules and Guidelines, State Planning Policy and ShapingSEQ2023. You will work closely with policy owners from across council and with State departments, the industry and community to prepare a new Planning scheme that will shape the future of the Gold Coast.
