Works Technical Officer (Maintenance) (Dalby)


About the Role

Based in either Dalby, and reporting to the Senior Project Manager Maintenance, you will provide technical support to the Infrastructure Services Division, including but not limited to:

  • Assisting with civil engineering activities including works programming, estimation and cost control;
  • Preparation of scope of works under specifications, conducting regular road inspections and determining defects for Council road;
  • Assisting with the resolution of engineering and works related customer requests which involve community liaison, provision of technical advice and solutions; and
  • Assisting with the preparation of infrastructure funding applications. 

About you

To be successful in this position, you will have a Construction Induction White Card and a current Drivers Licence. You will have a strong analytical and technical ability and experience in the civil construction environment.
