Senior Infrastructure Engineer


Greater Bendigo is experiencing another exciting period of growth, innovation and evolution as one of Victoria’s great regional cities. As Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will join a large strategic planning team and allied specialists in the planning and implementation of infrastructure to service the City’s long-term growth.

This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the City’s new and emerging communities and ensure it has the critical infrastructure to meet current and future needs.

We are seeking an engineering professional with well-rounded skills and diverse experience in infrastructure planning, design and/or delivery, complemented with high quality project management skills. 

You will have the opportunity to lead and contribute to a broad range of place-based and precinct-level infrastructure plans and the management and implementation of the City’s development contributions system.

To be successful in this role, you will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and a track record in building strong stakeholder relationships. You will also require substantial experience in infrastructure planning, design and/or delivery, and knowledge in relevant infrastructure and planning legislation and planning scheme provisions.

Applicants should have formal qualifications in Civil Engineering or alternatively lesser formal qualifications with extensive relevant experience. Its desirable that applicants are registered, or be eligible for registration, in accordance with the Professional Engineers Registration Act (2019).
