Sutherland Shire Council is about to embark on a digital transformation, reshaping the way we work across the organisation. We have a newly created ICT Strategy providing a clear roadmap for the future.

We are looking for a cloud centric technology leader to lead our digital transformation, centred around the implementation of a new SaaS ERP and positively impact the Sutherland Shire community. This role will bring vision, thought leadership and governance of the ICT strategy and architecture, ensuring alignment with Council’s overarching strategic plans, and adherence to appropriate ICT governance frameworks while also solving critical technology issues.

Things We’ll Trust You With:

• The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional skills and experiences in the following areas:

  • A proven ability to lead strategy through technology with a pragmatic approach to deliver Council’s ICT Strategy implementation plan, including a multi-year implementation of a software-as-a-service enterprise resource platform.
  • Significant experience in purpose-led, values driven leadership, with a focus on developing individual and team capability, to support the delivery of quality outcomes in an agile and collaborative approach.
  • A consistent and proven track record in the provision of secure and stable ICT services to support business outcomes, delivering on service level commitments and enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • An emotionally-intelligent and driven individual with highly effective communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain value-based stakeholder and strategic supplier relationships to progress key strategic and operational challenges and opportunities.
  • Ambitious and agile, with proven capacity to work well under pressure with an accountability mindset and a view to identifying and evaluating opportunities for business-led innovation and development to deliver ICT solutions that meet internal and external customer needs
