We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced, values driven professional to lead the unit. Focus areas include strategic management of energy and water, climate change mitigation and adaptation, environmentally sustainable design, biodiversity and urban cooling, and a sustainable resource recovery future through a circular economy approach. As the successful applicant, you will have substantial knowledge and experience in climate change and the environment with a demonstrated high level of managerial and leadership experience. You will be innovative, strategic, have an ability to develop and deliver high quality services and programs and provide support to staff in a demanding environment with conflicting demands. Outstanding interpersonal skills and sound financial management experience are essential to this role. A satisfactory Police Record Check and Working with Children Check is required for this position.
