What we are looking for:

The suitable candidate will have a high level of accounting experience in a large organisation, processing high volumes of work including BAS and FBT. Ideally they will also hold relevant qualifications in accounting or finance.

What you should have to apply:

• Minimum 3 years’ accounting experience in a large organisation
• Highly developed financial systems and MS Excel skills (advanced user)
• Ability to interpret relevant legislation, policies and procedures and apply in practice.
• High attention to detail
• Great customer service skills
• Open to change, flexible, quick learner and highly organised
• Queensland Class “C” drivers’ licence

What’s nice to have:

• Qualification in Accounting or Finance
• Local Government experience
