What you need to know...

  • permanent full time - 76 hours per fortnight
  • salary - $64,796 - $77,271 per annum, plus superannuation
  • a 9 day fortnight
  • location - Grafton
  • the opportunity to accrue time in lieu
  • the opportunity to 'purchase' leave

About the role

As the Maintenance Technical Officer you will:

  • Undertake investigations for Council works and matters of public complaint and request.
  • Provide timely, accurate and succinct information on Council issues.
  • Through other supervisors direct and coordinate staff in the delivery of high quality services ensuring effective and efficient methodology, quality standards, procedure and documentation, including asset maintenance and construction activities.

The successful applicant will:

  • Have a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Be able to think innovately to identify maintenance solutions
  • Have good communication & negotiation skills
  • Work as part of a team environment

This position is located at Council's Rushforth Road Works Depot, however, this may change should business needs identify other work locations to be more appropriate to deliver our services in the future.
