About the Role: As the Coordinator of City Presentation, you will have the exciting opportunity to lead and mentor a dynamic team responsible for maintaining the city's open spaces to the highest standards. Your responsibilities will include overseeing areas such as horticulture, parks and gardens, sports turf, irrigation, reserve maintenance, and urban forestry. With a substantial operational and capital works budget at your disposal, you'll play a pivotal role in programming and managing various works alongside three supervisors and approximately 60 staff members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team to ensure the effective management and maintenance of the city's open spaces.
  • Oversee horticulture, parks and gardens, sports turf, irrigation, reserve maintenance, and urban forestry teams.
  • Program and manage operational and capital works projects to enhance the city's presentation.

Requirements:

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Qualifications in horticulture or relevant experience
  • Background in local government parks and gardens or similar field

Additional Details:

  • Reporting: Directly report to the Manager of Operations.
  • Location: Based at our works depot in the City of Kalgoorlie Boulder.
  • 9 Day fortnight

Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Salary ranges between $119,542 to $129,421
