The Position

Council is seeking the services of person to fill the positions of Casual Assistant Educator. The successful applicants will be responsible for assisting in providing a quality early childhood program which meets the needs of the children attending Centre Based Childcare and in line with the requirements of the of the National Quality Standards and relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

  • The successful applicant must have their Certificate III in Children’s Services, be currently studying towards it, or willing to commence study within the first three months of employment.
  • Suitability Notice (Blue Card)
  • Current First Aid Certificate. and CPR Certificate
  • An understanding of Childcare legislation, National Quality Framework and Workplace Health & Safety procedures are also desirable.
