About the role:

Council is recruiting a Grants Coordinator - Major Projects to provide direction and leadership in the ongoing coordination, reporting, monitoring and evaluation of the Western Sydney Infrastructure Grants (WSIG) program on behalf of Burwood Council.

This role works closely with Project Managers and the Executive Manager Place Management and Communication to provide project planning assistance, research, and support as well as advice on the management of grants.

The Grants Coordinator also provides specialist advice, tools and support to business units delivering grant programs. The role works closely with managers and staff to ensure programs are targeted, maximise community benefit and are equitable for all stakeholders, ensuring governance and probity is applied throughout.

This position is suited to those who thrive in fast-paced working environments, and can manage multiple priorities and work programs as required.

Key Requirements:

  • COVID 19 vaccination for all employees (2 Vaccines)
  • Willingness to complete a National Police History Check
  • Willingness to complete a pre-employment health assessment (where applicable)
