He angitūtanga: The opportunity

 

The purpose of this role is to support the delivery of AIMS contracts by performing a variety of electrical works; utilising a variety of tools, vehicles and equipment. The responsibilities for the role include- 
•    Working safely at all times
•    Positive interactions with our internal and external customers
•    Inspecting, maintaining, repairing and replacing assets across our customer's portfolios
•    Renewal and minor projects works
•    Availability to undertake occasional after-hours response work
•    Available for on-call roster Once in every 6 weeks.


He kōrero mōu: About you

 

You are a proactive self-motivated tradesman that’s able to work independently and carry out inductions through until completion. Good time management and the ability to work within deadlines and meet the job expectations would see you excel in this role. Strong verbal and written communication skills would be an advantage.

•    Registered Electrician 
•    Min 2 years’ experience in an industry environment 
•    A current practising license and experience in commercial electrical works! 
•    A good understanding of health and safety requirements 
•    A full clean NZ driver license 
•    Able to pass a drug test.

Your base location will be throughout the Auckland region working 40 hours a week, Monday – Friday with rostered shift and over-time work when required. 

 

This role is deemed safety sensitive and in line with Auckland Council policy, you will be required to complete pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
